Not at all Dieter...I actually kinda liked how it escalated. Looking back at my history of Brian, this is the first time he's tried to lie his way through something under direct scrutiny...I didn't expect it to work, nor is it his training.
He does however, want to avoid killing cops. He didn't like doing it in Vegas, and it's just going to escalate things. As far as I'm concerned, the dog is a bigger problem than the cop. Present a moving target to the cop, doggie gets a jump-boot to the face.
OOC: XIV - As in Louis XIV, minus the powered wig and frilly
Using the power of Profession (FBI Agent) to persuade him that I've got the minerals to back up what I'm saying, of course.
So Dieter, how impressed is Yuri with the FBI punk? Wetting his pants, backing off, smirking, or laughing his head off?
Hmm...how do I put this? The dice came up on the Russkie's side.
Yuri's been around the block a few too many times to let some pencil-pushing asshat from Washington dress him down.
If there were a phrase or two I'd reply with it would be,
"Tell your director and your President to go fuck themselves with your Constitution. Last time I checked you were in Russia, which means you play by my rules."
-or-
"I could have you killed and your government would be lucky to find your corpse during the thaw next Spring."
....or something to that effect.
Anyway Yuri looks at it, he's not intimidated.

This is a bit tense...time to give edgy snipers something to think about.
Going to make my way to where *I* would go...nothing like suddenly losing your sniper cover to ease up on the negotiation tactics.

So, am I in ball-punching range here?

This is what happens when you split the team.

Dude, Russians are awesome.

Gatty, if you so much as put Artis behind the wheel of anything with wheels its mortality rate jumps exponentially.
It's not a matter of if the vehicle gets fragged, it's only a matter of when it gets fragged.

I *was* asking myself why Art didn't requisition a vehicle.

Actually, there's the Bond Car in the Q-Branch thread. I could whip up a "light" version or something.

Did we all spend GP yet? I thought we hadn't done that yet, in which case... oops. I guess I thought the "car making" part would come once we got in-country?
Meh. I sounds like your asking me to fulfill some GM responsibilities or something.
Have Gatty make up a vehicle for you. Standard accoutrements, nothing too flashy or over the top.

What's our goal? If we scrap the optical cloaking from the Bondcar, we're down to 15 GP total cost for it, I think, and there's some other stuff we can strip.
EDIT: Woah, trippy.

Last time, I think I actually used every single gadget on the car. Electric hull, submarine package, machine guns, remote controls, obviously the reinforced armor and tires...
The remote control is a big thing for me, and I know you wouldn't build me something without armor.
However, what kind of stuff can we fit inside a chopper?

A chopper? You want a chopper?

Not much cargo/crew space. You guys like to cram alot of shit into vehicles at one point or another.
Just saying...
