OOC: XIV - As in Louis XIV, minus the powered wig and frilly

Dieter 2005-01-13 16:17:58
That's funny, 'cause Artis' plan is to put two in everybody's head, take the cases, and friggin' leave. The Rudolph movies have worn off. :)
Gatac 2005-01-13 16:20:18
Yes, but the cop has called in reinforcements. We're gonna need him alive and our side to call off the hounds, unless you want to make it a mass combat against the SMP.

Still planning on using Sasha as a human shield while taking out Igor?
Dieter 2005-01-13 16:51:22
I guess not. I'll try to head into the snow and sneak up behind Igor.
Dieter 2005-01-13 22:16:55
Goose will be within sneak attack range in one turn. Alternatively, you could choose to fire this turn and get a flanking bonus.

Which, I can attest, fucking sucks for all involved.

And you don't have Scary McBackstab with you.

I want the sneak attack bonus. Actually, I'd LIKE to place the barrel against his skull and tell him to drop his gun and call in Code 4, but seeing as how I don't speak Russian I might have to wound the bejeezus out of him and then get him to do that.

What language is Gordon's character using?

Um. I presume English, but I'll leave it up to Gordon for clarification.

You could pull a Trinity "Dodge This" manuever. :)

Although "Drop you gun and call in Code 4" has alot style points going for it. Igor has already been wounded too and it's not as if this guy has "Boss" written on him.
Dieter 2005-01-14 02:16:11
In accordance with what Gatac seems to be planning, I'll try the "drop your gun and call all clear", and I'll be yelling loud enough for Peter to translate, in case the gun to Igor's head isn't message enough.

They're in Russia. He's speaking Russian.

My plan at this point is to cuff all 4: the two cops and Sasha and the talkative passenger and take them with us. Igor can make good on his promise to get us through the checkpoints if we tell him we'll kill his partner if he doesn't play it cool.

Another plan would be to leave the truck (pained look) and take the car. Either way, cuffing all 4 guys here I think is a priority because Sasha and his buddy aren't being covered at the moment, something Artis is going to rectify.
Gatac 2005-01-14 17:31:10
Leave the truck? Like hell. We rub down the front with window cleaner and take Igor with us.

Peter is so not leaving his toys behind. :)

I said "pained look". I would rather not lose the truck until I can blow up something important with it. :)
Gatac 2005-01-14 18:21:33
Didn't Art have a pair of handcuffs on him as part of his personal budget? If he doesn't, he'll have to fetch a pair of Igor's partner.

Artis would like something noisy and Russian as far as armament goes. Like an AKSU. A backup handgun, say a .40 S&W, with silencer if possible. 2 mags for the handgun, and 4-6 mags for the primary. Kevlar vest, warm clothing, handcuffs. At least one stimulant shot, two would be better.

Oh, and seeing how we're in Siberia and he's already used his only Kick Start, Artis would like a mechanic's toolkit.

That's from when you said "just pick what you'd like" for this mission, so as to not have to open accounting software for the mission BPs.
Dieter 2005-01-14 18:51:49
Meh. You're right. It's a pair of cuffs, not a minigun...or is it? ;)
