Zug is probably next to Jileeza. I'm not sure who's across, but I would guess Wayde or Arnae.
OOC 1
Wayde can be across from Zug if he likes. Aurelia's likely next to Wayde for the booze, then we'll have 'Za, and then Zug. Reyes'll be next to Zug on his other side cause of his fast reflexes and martial arts, then Mak and Erit.
What Zug meant was that he knows the Gran has a ship, not that he knows the Gran AND that same Gran has a ship.
If you see someone park next to you and get out, you know they have a car, even if you don't know them personally.

Right.
My proposal:
-Pay our tabs
-Leave one by one
-Head for the dockyard
-Post a watch just outside the dockyard in case the drunken Gran returns early
-Stake out the Gran's ship and watch for other crewman
-G.T.S.

Plan sounds good to me. If you like 'Za's suggestion, she could be the last to leave here and join you.

Or Reyes could just kick his ass. Wait until he leaves, then beat him up in an alley or something. Not very subtle, but it is faster and it insures that our little victim won't be wandering in on our little party, since he'll be tied up and unconscious.

Of course, if he's found, the good guys (police, whatever) would swoop down on us like flies on shit.
Depends on what kind of scum we're dealing with here. They might just decide that it's just desserts for a lowlife.
Let's keep the initial carnage down to a minimum. We're currently without a ship in a backwater town with little more than a prospective hint at escape. I'd rather have a way out before we start gunning down random people.

All right, to me it sounds like the principals are:
Jileeza: seduction/distraction
Reyes: slicing any security on the ship/dock
Arnae: obviously making sure the ship'll handle
Aurelia: makes sure the ship'll handle with Arnae flying it
Everyone else: handle any guards or crew
Sounds good?

Works for me (and Jileeza).
Spiffy.

Wayde will be using his "squad tactics" skill during this manuever.

Fast and clean, minimum noise.

No problem.
Just out of curiosity, why is Reyes having troubles hotwiring this ship? Nasty security, or just bad luck?
A bit of both, but mostly bad luck.
The Gran was probably a bit more paranoid than he looked, at least when he's not sloshed.
You can give me 3 "concessions"; little things that go wrong, or bad things, or something, and you can get it going, or you or someone else can try a different tactic?
As an example, things I might use for concessions are things like, "you get it going finally, but:"
1. Your slicing kit's busted
2. You've got most functions but the weapon safeguards are still locked down
3. As above, but for the hyperdrive
4. One of the KO'd crew wakes up at an inopportune moment
5. Dock security busts in, alerted by something during the bay door slicing
You get the idea.

I guess I'll pick doors 1, 2, and 4 and hope this heap of scrap can move.
That whole mess wasn't really incompetence on Za's part so much as it was blind stupid luck on the Gran's. He's got what I like to call a "partial" hold on you - he can't do damage until he tries for another hold attempt, but he can stop you from moving around too much. You've still got your blaster, although he'll be fighting any attempt to fry him with it. Not so much a hostage situation, more like a "struggling over the gun" kind of thing.
