I like how it goes from subtle mind trickery to full out blasting everything.
OOC 2
Hey! At least we tried the subtle approach.
They're Y-wings - you've got enough of a lead to make a run for it a risky but plausible tactic. Shooting them down, then running for it's completely viable too. Or do what they say, or something else. I'm just saying that the speed of your takeoff prevented A) any starport defenses being brought online TWO Y-wings, not more, and C) they're only Y-wings, not X-wings or anything.
Yeah, but Y-Wings = Possible ion cannons. Not good.

If Wayde smells any sort of BS, he'll be using his Presence aspect to get her to talk.
A ship full of third-rate losers. How much you want to bet this won't be their last argument - not by a long shot.
Well, whatever the ship is full of, you've got some time before dropping into Bespin space. What shall the word be regarding Miss Ta?
She's tied up until she's honest with us. I'd also suggest we check her for bugs/tracking devices before we get too far out.
Have 'Za strip search her. That way, everybody's happy.
And here I figured you boys would be happier doing the strip search yourselves... :cheesy:
Jileeza could certainly do that, though she might be inclined to perform a fairly unpleasant cavity search as well.

Not that I find strip-searching less than agreeable, but can we slip a little mindprobe courtesy of Erit before that?

Missed this post - anyhow, a mind probe on a deeper level than what you've already got will take until you get to Bespin. It will also require some peace and quiet. I figure you'd rather have her searched first.
Also, for Reyes, since I figured he'd be doing bug-scanning. "Cursory scan" means nothing is actively transmitting, nor does it look like "Hey! I'm a bug!" Further checking will take the rest of the trip as well, and involve dismantling Ta's tools, looking for inactive beacons and whatnot.

Once again, I apologize for the slowness. I just haven't been able to post, and when I can, I'm trying to keep up with the other games so I don't hold them up.
We're probably not quite done with the "conversation in hyperspace", but we'll be moving along to Bespin before too long.

From the first OOC thread:
Bespin/Cloud City is an out-of-the-way tibanna facility. It's still held by the Empire, although chances for bribery are good seeing as it's far removed from the civil war. As you probably know, Bespin is a gas giant whose atmosphere naturally spin-seals tibanna, making production excessively cheap. It's just Cloud City's remoteness that prevents it from being super-lucrative.
So unfortunately, Lando doesn't live there anymore.

"It's a deal," Ta says, looking more at the blade than Wayde.
"I can't wait to thank you."
-or-
"I can't wait to shank you."
Oh, right. It's like a "I hope you don't stab me" kind of look.
Ok then. We'll cut her loose but will keep a vigilant eye on her.
Jileeza doesn't much agree with the decision to release Ta, but it isn't her decision. Instead, she'll use the ship's monitors to keep an eye on the woman. After all, she doesn't have much else to do up in the turret.
in case the guy in the picture wasn't scruffy enough to recognize, here's another:
What are you guys doing (if anything) with Miss Twi'lek?
What kind of things would Aurelia like to do to the ship?
