Er...not to sound greedy, but...well, alright, I am greedy, so let's get this over with. How's out XP look up to now? I dimly recall mention that we'd probably level up halfway through this, and I wanted to know if we're still on track for that.

Just so I can start worrying about character upgrades at the right time.

Gatac

About that. Yeah. Start thinking about your next level. Everyone will level-up as soon as the Team is reassembled.

I think we knock him out, tie him up and put him on the floor in the attendant's hut and leave a note on the windows of the booth to let him out, then take the car.

You guys just taking the car and killing/incapacitating the pump attendant?

How about just you know...convincing him? Or, failing that, just knocking him out.

We are still the good guys. Brian's had his fill of killing people who didn't have it coming.

Carla'd probably be willing to do one or both if asked.

Do you really think that he'll just hand over a car?

Clearly you haven't been versed in Agency Persuasion. It's all a matter of him seeing that losing his *car* is the lesser of many evils.
Dieter 2005-03-10 14:32:28
Time for a montage.

Honestly, four agents vs. a gas station attendant isn't really fair...but what is?

He's not some KGB Supersoldier relic from the Cold War, so don't worry about what happens.

Uh, Gordon, we're already physically there...

Technically yes, as of the end of Dieter's post. However, the conversation that Ilyanna was responding to was at the *beginning* of that long drive, not the end.

One of the downsides of PbP is the funny things that happen with posting order and "game time". Just part of the beast.

Dear Readers,

Your GM is suffering from some variant form of the T-Virus and currently trying to overcome the vicious effects thereof.

In short, the storyline will have to wait. In the meantime, stay away from Raccoon City and avoid eating anything that resembles undercooked meat.

Gah.
Dieter 2005-03-14 21:34:25
If I had Milla Jovovich's number, do you think I'd be spending all my free time talking you guys? ;)
Dieter 2005-03-15 15:10:08
So what's the plan before continuing the pursuit of Jess?
Gatac 2005-03-15 16:28:18
We need a new ride, that much is clear.

Possible procurement:

A) Old-fashioned, we steal one.
B) Transportation favor check.
C) We fuck subtlety and reactivate the Big Rig.

Artis is the Fixer and with Ilyanna's help, they could probably get something decent.

What are you doing with the Red Army Officer still in custody? Repeating beatings to the head is doing nothing for his constitution and we'll soon start talking about dain bramage.
Gatac 2005-03-15 16:52:44
I say we ditch the Redcap. It's unlikely that he'll be of any use.

Unless you want to use him to gain access to the nearest Army base and commandeer a vehicle from there...

I say we leave him tied up in the airport office, after one more love tap for good measure. :)
CrazyIvan 2005-03-16 00:20:06
I say we just leave him tied and blindfolded where someone will find him. No sense in fucking up a guy just doing his job who happened to be knocking on the wrong bloody limo window.
Dieter 2005-03-16 17:44:53
An update is forthcoming. Gatac and I just need to sort out a few details regarding Jess.
