Does anyone have X-ray lenses or thermal or whatnot?
In either case, Artis is "fighting defensively" and trying to get to cover on this floor.

Team B. Where are you guy/gals off to?
Ditto for Moten.
Ayumi has x-ray lenses, as well.
I would like very, very much to attempt a shoot-dodge from the stairwell to behind the table. Pretty please?
From there, I'd suggest popping smoke and laying down cover fire while Ayumi tumbles into sword range.

That's what I was asking about the X-rays for. Throw smoke and let Ayumi do her thing. Artis has starlight lenses (for driving with headlights off), but I don't think they see through smoke. Do they?

We'll have to remember that trick, that worked out really freaking well. And if bad guys try that stuff on us, we'll be prepared.
What floor are we on? I submit that we term this maneuver the "Nth Floor Special."
You're one floor away from the roof.
So, moving up the roof?
I'm guessing the "principle" was not among the filleted guards, so... yeah. To the roof! And Peter stays covered.
Hurry up and drive! There's helicopters that need shootin' down.
Redlining the Lada...as far as that's possible, anyway.

Given that Omsk is hundreds and hundreds of km away from Kiev, it's a given that Team B won't make it to Kiev in a timely fashion.
Good thing there's GM discretion.
Stay tuned.

Team A. So you're going to have to use the elevator or climb up the side of the building.

I vote elevator, it should be good for one level.

How heavy is that wooden table?

How heavy is that wooden table?
It's light enough for all of you to carry into the elevator...if that's what the next question is.
Action Die goes to Punkey/Moten.
FYI.
I'm pretty much done with Team B's current plotline, so we'll have to wait for the situation at Sam's apartment to end before I can continue.
Feel free to continue the banter back/forth between the characters.

I think that if we prop the table up in the door of the elevator and all get down on the floor, it'll provide at the very least temporary cover and concealment, and in case they're waiting up on the roof with guns drawn, we wait until they finish ruining a perfectly good table, kick the table over out of the door, and open fire.
