I'm going to move to the nearest patch of shady jungle growth bordering on the beach, trying to remain hidden.

Ha, this one was in the wrong board. Wow, have I been off lately.

Moving to get in position at the other minigun.

And cursing whoever came up with this plan.

Kyun is going to try to get some pictures. I believe you meant Ayumi is letting loose with the mini-gun :)
CrazyIvan 2003-04-10 03:06:41
Hrm.. let me see... get hit by the missile, or dodge the missile... ooh, that's a hard one. :) Trying to dodge the missile, please.

cool, I'm my own team!

I guess I'll wait until the chopper's in position, radio a request for cover, and tumble my way out of there. Fighting defensively gives me a +5 to defense (tumble ranks and moving target) with a -2 to skill and attack rolls (if I make any) and full defense gets me +6 to defense. I'll probably do that, and maybe take the free check to tumble 20 feat if I need more distance.
threadbare 2003-04-11 12:03:20
Um, I'm pretty sure that distance tumbled counts against your basic movement.
Dieter 2003-04-11 17:35:21
At this point, you have a some choices.

1) Land the chopper on the beach, risking being incapacitated on the ground.

2) Dropping a line for Ayumi to climb up, but also risk being shot down during the hover.
Dieter 2003-04-12 00:19:22
My vote's for landing the chopper, that is if we're being democratic about this =)
Dieter 2003-04-12 04:24:28
If we're going to catch an RPG in the tail rotor, we might as well do it without having to spiral into the coconut trees afterwards.

I can't engage, but I can return fire, right?

Hell yeah...I would. ;)
Dieter 2003-04-12 09:48:28
Landing it is then... I was in the midst of formulating an option 3, but that wouldn't work so well because none of us is Spiderman.
CrazyIvan 2003-04-13 09:03:18
I vote for landing. Time to break out the rifle, slide in a clip and prepare for the inevitable.

Oh yeah, load the pistol as well :)
Dieter 2003-04-14 16:16:14
That went pretty well (for a change) with the chopper taking a negligible amount of damage.
