Hopefully Jess is smart enough to um...not die.
It's rifle time. Send a round to where ever will stop the car in a hurry, with the minimal amount of flipping, spinning, fire, explosions and death to the woman inside. Failing that, the back of the passenger's head.
OOC: XI - New and improved OOC action. Well...not really.

I think someone should make a Cleric prestige class. Oh heck, somebody probably already HAS. That's a scary thought.
On a second note, I've been thinking about the gameplay mechanics of demolition magazines for handguns (ala Crying Freeman). I was thinking that an internal mag as on most pistols should totally mess up the internals and make ballistic profiling harder, if not impossible (maybe even rip off hands in booby-trap mode), whereas anything with an external magazine (heavy SMG upwards) should act like a grenade. I could surely think of a situations where it could be useful, but I'm not sure if it's overpowered. It should definately be a gadget, though.

Gatty, there is a "Medic" prestige class which can be found in the Soldier/Wheelman handbook. I don't have it on me, but I'll try and list the pre-reqs this evening.
As for the exploding magazines, I think Q-Branch can whip up something like a mechanism which automatically ignites all of the bullets' primer caps.

Well, I put her up with another Pointman for now - maybe Medic is interesting, and I'll change it to that then, but for now, I was more concerned with the fact that the derived values (particularly saves) were wrong, like, way wrong. (Stuck at 1st level, to be exactly.) I hope I calculated them right now...
Also time for first aid/disguise kit, not added to personal gear. Not being able to make masks makes for shitty disguise.

I should also add that Artis' weapon did -not- run out of ammo...it just jammed, ready to go next round.

Wow, the Spycraft Website has an extensive Writeup on a German Secret Service, and it even makes sense !
This is, like, beyond cool.
Yeah, I have no point. So ?

I know the fight up in Scotland and the situation in London aren't running concurrently, but just bear with me.
Seriously, we need a new plan.
Tracking Catesby would be really hard. We know the approximate distance of her boat from the pier where we met (since Jess was smart enough to pay attention to her watch), and satellite footage of the surrounding area may give us their yacht. Provided we can track it to where it is now, it would give us additional clues.
Other than that, I see no way to find her. Very inconsiderate of her.
We can probably compile a list of targets and protect one, maybe two. Since Catesby's IQ is way through the roof, it will probably not work - she'll hit where we least expect it.
In essence, to win the game, we have to get on top of it. Make her come to where we want her. For that, we have to give her what she wants. What does Catesby want ?
I think Catesby lives in contempt of those she thinks are less smart than her. She likes to toy with people - the attack on the safe house was another game move, and she probably felt good when she thought she'd conned us out of the money. Maybe she knew already that I was faking, but I doubt that; the fact that the money got split over multiple accounts points to her stashing the money without considering the possibility that someone might be tracking it. Of course, it might be another trick - maybe it's not even her account, and she wants us to get into trouble for fucking with them. But that seems rather unlikely, especially since a lot could go wrong with that plan - if she'd been suspecting that kind of power behind me, I'd be dead.
I believe she fears being tricked herself.
When the money disappears (including anything else she had on the accounts), she's going to be pissed, not at the material loss, but at the fact that she was being conned. Now, if we were to circulate a similar story happening to the Russian mafia (of course imagined, but I bet Koskov can give us a few pointers), she'd be extra furious. After that, all we need is announce that Kortney Fitzpatrick, spoiled brat and con artist, has been arrested by Scotland Yard. A subtle leak here and there, and we hope that she's too furious to check.
And when she puts on her soliqouy, that's when our trap snaps.
Or something like that, I'm tired.

You could just call Catesby. Hearing Jess/Samantha/Identity du Jour on the other end will no doubt spurn the megalomaniacal-evil genius in her.
I have her number ? Oh shit, that makes it easier.
I assume the "account clearing" is approved ?

P.S. Tomorrow is Turkey Day for us over on the other side of the Atlantic pond, so I doubt there will be much (if any) activity. I'll probably check the site in the morning and probably late tomorrow evening.

Also, I think since we've got that "23 hours" thing going (possibly more in scotland, what with the time difference and all. ) at least the team in scotland should just start running disruption. Try to get her to think that the shit's hit the fan up there, distract her as she's trying to deal with Jessica thoughtfully.
I promise no references to Jack Bauer or his CTU...but I reserve the right to name drop if you guys ever go to California.
*rubs hands* This should be good, oh, very good indeed, yesss...

Since ADS will be incognito until at least Wednesday, what are Carla and Ayumi doing now that the fight is over?
Call the Agency to report in, then start opening up those "bait" crates.

I agree with IP. Start busting open crates, and if what's in there is good stuff, load it into the van.
FYI, Biggin Hill is a small airfield in the South-East of London. I chose it as location because it looks small enough on the photos that we could probably seal it off without major trouble for the time we need it.
Of course, that's subject to edit from Dave, but I think it should work.
