EDIT: Looks like it worked. Thats 'size=1'. The standard size is probably either 2 or 3.

I should also say that Jess' operation has a random mix of "non-leveled spy guys" and a small squad of Royal Army regulars (7 grunts-1st Level, One NCO-3rd level).

Since Brian is the resident soldier, I'll put them under his command.

Yeah, I don't really count VP loss as "wounded" until it gets bad, but I think it was you who took a critical.

Crap... I've gotta update Artis.

VP loss is like Bruce Willis in the first Die Hard movie. He had a butt-load of VPs and was pretty much out of them by the end, but since he didn't take any wounds he was fine.

Except for the feet, and maybe the gunshot to the arm, but only the feet thing really seemed to faze him so maybe not.

the gm was probably playing gruber with the metaknowledge that the glass-feet damage probably forced a will or fortitude check.

Anyway, looking at the new levelled characters, Ayumi remains sick wit' it in terms of doing damage, but Carla is near her in wounds and vitality, despite being a level behind. That +2 constitution bonus and +1 from black ops really helps. Throw in the extra wound points I get every once in a while and Carla'll be a frickin' tank by 8th level or so.

No update today. I'm going to try and transfer the updated characters over to the permanent thread this evening.

What sort of manuever is Artis going to try against the Bait-truck?

Starting speed is 35MPH at 13 lengths.

Bad news: Artis critically failed, Bad guys critically succeeded.

Good news: Artis made both his crash checks thus not turning his truck and its occupants into confetti upon impact.

Overall, the only thing that changed was the position of the vehicles. Ayumi is now the lead predator.

Well, now I've gotta do a shortcut again to catch up. :biggrin:
