The good thing about splitting the group in this case is that, as a single group, we are about the size of a private army. Individually I think we will each get more "Screen Time", and smaller groups are easier to gauge enemies for IMO.

I just find it funny that you guys struggled to get everyone reunited just to split the team up again.
We needed to meet to shuffle the teams around for their new task.

And Brian needs to swap out weapons
It's not as bit a split up as much as...someone's acting as bait.

What are you gonna swap for? (Just out of curiosity...)

I'll give everyone another day for the "Gearing Up" phase.
I'm sticking with the revolver, but as the char sheet indicates there shall be a scope on it.
As for other things...how's the market for explosives?

You're in the backwoods of Russia, so the odds on you finding some Red Army surplus is pretty good.
Artis and Ilyanna could arrange that if they like.

Yes...Peter want BIG boom. Screw armor or guns for me, I just want plastique and some detonators. There's no problem in the world that can't be solved by liberal application of high explosives.

Gatac and I've done some chatting on the subject, and it looks like Ayumi would work best as the heavy for the group that's not the decoy.
Also, I think my equipment looks fine for now. If we encounter something that four pistols, two swords, and a pair of sunglasses can't get past, then we're well and truly up shit creek.

Team A: (Going after Samantha)
Artis (In Le Car)
Peter (Rig)
Moten
Ayumi
Team B: (Diversionary, goes for Jess)
Ilyanna (Driving the Jetta)
Carla
Brian
Sound good?

Good enough for me.

Sounds good. I'll work with Illyana to get Petey whatever kinds of bombs he needs. As far as Artis' equipment, I think I'm OK, although I'd like another stimulant shot to replace the one I used on the cop's partner.
"What do you need? Besides a miracle."
"C4. Lots of C4."
So that'll be a demo kit and as much plastique as we can grab. Fuck grenades. C4 also has the advantage that compared to the BP prices, it's dirt cheap to get with field expenses, and we don't care about chemical tracing.
Fun fact: 1/4lb of C4 is 4d6, blast increment 10 feet. Preparing a shaped charge has a DC of 10, and for every 5 you beat that, you add another 1d6. So if Peter with his +17 on demolitions takes 10 on that check (Result 27), that shaped charge does 7d6. Unless Peter critically fails, the shaped charge does at least 5d6. If he rolls 18 or above, we get 9d6.
And that's 1/4lb.
If we can grab some chemicals, Peter can cook up Thermite, too. (Requires 4+ Demolitions, but happens automagically!) 2d8, burning through most anything it comes into contact with. Armor-Defeating, baby - ignores the first 10 points of hardness.
And that's 1/4 lb, too.
Ah, so many ways to hurt people, so little time.

Since she's not really intended as a combattant, Ilyanna is fine with her pistol.
BTW, at mention of Samantha, Ilyanna will let the group know that she has some contacts that may be able to give her some info on Samantha's whereabouts. She'd need probably half a day or so.

I need some guns. Preferably ones that you can CQB with. Any suggestions?
Pistols: H&K SOCOM, silenced. Desert Eagle .44.
Rifle: H&K G36C.
Shotgun: Franchi SPAS-12, because it's badass. Or an Ithaca English Stock Model 37, because it's good.
SMG: MP5N or a Bizon-2.
How do those sound?

Brian's got his standard 9mm sidearm...the MP5 is all well and good, but...well, if I'm going to be using an MP5, it might as well be an SD.
Honestly, I'd prefer a proper rifle. A pistol will do sneaky just as well as a SMG, but whoever is messing with us clearly has some heavy artillery, and my fondness for helicopters not withstanding, we have very little to throw back at a determined sharpshooter or the like. A finely crafted G36 however...
Right now, with the lack of books and the like, running a bit blind...considering this is being written from a hostel in Austria. Ideally, an accurate assault rifle would be handy as all getout I'm thinking.

A G36 for Brian would be pretty damn bitchin', indeed.
