Do you actually have a rocket launcher in the semi, or was that simply making small talk? I'm of a mind to simply leave. Yes. Let them chase the wheelman without benefit of sniper cover.
OOC: XV - Big Bada-Boom
The rig doesn't have any internal weapons, but there's loads of infantry weaponry in the back.
I'm in favor of gunning it, too.

So what's the call with regard to the drop-off?
Load everybody back up and get the hell out.
Gatty, what/where are the stats for the rig?
Q-Branch II, page 9. If you want, I can repost them at the end for easier reference.

Half-a-dozen sticks of dynamite and that's all that happened.
Gah.
Gah.
Are Ayumi and Carla making a run for the limo?

The funniest thing would have been that you guys were both snoop-ish characters. :cheesy:
The big difference being of course that we were snoops with the good sense to take cover.

Peter's Espionage check tells him the FSB doesn't do the kind of set-up that just happened. They like to corner people in traincars in the middle of Siberia.
And contrary to popular belief, the FSB is just and underfunded and mismanaged as any other government organization in Russia. They don't have the manpower or resources to stage the operation that just went down in the parking lot.

We definately need to repair and repaint the rig some time soon.

I'm kind of in agreement with Anatoli, though. They can just start stopping semis. It'd be a lot easier to kick Anatoli out the door, toss him a gun 20 yards further down, drive off, and switch to the sports car once we're out of sight. Compared to finding somewhere to stop and paint an entire semi.
Or...
Lose Anatoli as suggested, drive to a place where we MIGHT repaint the rig, and hide and watch to see who shows up. Activate the self-destruct (I had to say it!) and beat the truth out of any survivors.

You still have the Bond Car in the trailer.
Second plan, but please try to avoid the self-destruct. Grab what we can in equipment and stuff it into the Bond car, then wait a bit to see if anyone comes. I suggest Artis lie in ambush while Peter works on the rig; that makes for a better ambush to see them carry our plan out, and if the attack doesn't come, we've got a repainted vehicle we can have smuggled out later.

That's what I'm saying.
Although after thinking about it some more, if the Agency is trying to have us sanctioned (for god knows WHAT I have no idea), having the semi around is far more useful.
At the very least, we need to hide it and get a new vehicle - preferably the one in the back, and Artis will not allow Anatoli to see it. I'd rather have only me and Gatac know we have that car.
As for Anatoli's help... it's tempting, but to involve more people, who are undoubtably of a criminal/mercenary persuasion, and who do NOT owe us their lives, and who may be working for/be bribed by the Odessas, it all seems to be a worse situation to me.

Oh, we're fucked either way. We'll do the repaint scheme and use you as bait I guess. Do you want to involve Anatoli's "friends"?
Agreed on the Anatoli count...we're a fixer/wheelman and a goddamn mercenary. If we can't organise a repaint ourselves, we'd be pitiful.

Speaking of which, how's Peter doing in the injury department? Time for action dice already?
