OOC 1: Vandal Squadron
Calsera's in her X-Wing.
Eritram, Dutch, and Jorm are manning a Skipray Blastboat.
Arnae and Aurelia are in the Rusty Dagger, with Ganet helping with the weapons.
Mandall is flying an X-Wing as well.
The general scope of the mission was: the Dagger, posing as your standard innocuous freighter, screams toward an Imperial garrison, shouting about Rebel pirates. The rest of the wing follows, firing close but not too close. When the Imps scramble, the Dagger unloads on them from behind, you guys mop up and take whatever the freighter can haul, then jump the hell back to the carrier.
The Dagger's hyperdrive shorted out, though, so it's a delaying action against Imperial reinforcements until Aurelia can get her baby back online.

Woa, we are right in the action.
First off I'd like to say I am happy its not 4 squadrons of TIEs.
Then I'd be happy to know what crew postions a Blastboat has. Would Eritram be manning the Turret? Would he have access to the missile launch systems (if any are present)?

How about callsigns everyone?
Should we pick a theme?

Edit: (Suggested wrong PC for leader)
Dutch being Vandal Leader?
As far as tradition goes, I think the numbers are based on who flies with whom when split in pairs.
In that case I'd like Eritram to be the wingman of someone. No leading a pair for him.
Vandal 4 would do.

Quote:Seems a little dull to me. Perhaps we can play a little more with the Vandal thing. I can see Calsera as VandalCat, for example.Quote: from Dieter on 10:41 am on June 9, 2005

On a more serious note: I wouldnt mind "Vandal Reaper" for Eritram.

Vandal Paladin, Vandal Maniac, Vandal Angel...
Perhaps simply Cat, Reaper, and Hotshot would do. Cat being short for "Cathar", of course, since to my knowledge there aren't any cats in Star Wars.
And I say play who you want to play. If you're all human (except for Cat), it just means you have to diversify via personality, not stereotype.

Two Questions:
1. Am I flying, or is Dutch?
2. Do we have forward mounted guns as well as a turret?

I suppose when he's flying, Ganet'll go by the callsign, "Phalanx."
It's always important to start off your star wars with a zap-bang opening.

If its a standard Blastboat it would have ion cannons and lasers in a fixed forward firing mount.

I know, but let's see what El Jefe decides. I figure I've got to have something besides harsh language to use against people right in front of me.
Aurelia will go by her name.
