Q-Branch II - The Usual Refinements

One thing Beretta has always been good for is treating the eyes right. My only gripe here is that it's a pistol carbine.

Think the Agency boys could whip us up one in 5.7?

[edit]Changed to 5.7. I was thinking the FN round, but typed the G11 round for some reason.

That could be arranged. I'll have a BP value by the time you get back to HQ.
Dieter 2003-08-21 22:01:12
Well, not for Ayumi. I've dropped so many feats into two-weapon fighting that I might as well just stick with that.

Something tells me that this will eventually lead to dual MP7s.

Which I'd mind quite a bit, seeing that I'm not in the mood for Wasteland Colt syndrome.

And with Jess' sad ranged combat abilities, I'd stick with one gun if you actually want to hit anything.

If they're size Medium, the penalties just rule them out in favor of something lighter, like Glock 18's with extended clips.

It's the gearing up phase. I'll have the number hopefully this evening. Think about what you'd like to have.

Yes, but they're just the cheap ones you can get on any standard Nokia(TM) camera phone.

Will it take a halfway decent picture from a few feet away? Sure.
Will it have IR/Nightvision with telephoto capability? Nope.

How many BP would it be to soup up the camera phone?

Also, I'm looking at a poison spike watch and faceprint lenses, but that's 6GP. Does anyone want to lend me one? If not, that's also cool. There's plenty of other cool stuff I could get. It just seems like a good idea.

Kevlar Vest (30 BP)

Glasses housing (1 GP)
-Other-directional lenses (1 GP)
-Starlight lenses (1 GP)
2 GP's to the team car

Are we allowed to order nasty ammunition out of the MAG?
threadbare 2003-09-12 06:31:50
Hey, IP, I'll give you a GP so you can put a faceprint option into your glasses. If we're doing that, I'll spend the remaining GP on a watch with poison spikes (paralytic solution). with the BP remaining I think I'll get spring-loaded thingydoodles for my tiger claws. *snikt* I'll be back with BP.

Toys:

Brian raided the SAS Armory, and took:

1. 7.62x51mm sniper rifle
+60 rounds of FMJ ammo for it
Match Grading

Personal budget:

Package C, as usual.
Starlight glasses
Accurization for the rifle
extra pack of military ball rounds for pistol
ghillie suit
flash suppressor for rifle
basic video bug
survival kit
trendy cloths
helmet

No money spent. Normally I wouldn't do a huge personal re-equip but...well. my old personal budget is at the bottom of the S. China Sea...
CrazyIvan 2003-09-12 08:45:49
Ivan: "If lost or destroyed, gear requisitioned with your personal budget is replaced at the start of every mission." (Spycraft p. 104) It also says that you're only supposed to reorganize your personal budget items at level gains, but I bet Dieter doesn't care.

Threadbare: Let's give those GP's for the faceprint lenses to Jess, instead. She is our faceman, after all, and hence the one most likely to be doing any face-to-face... On the other hand, we might want to give them to our watcher or guard or whatever, so he or she can identify possible threats easier.... Whatever the case may be. Let's just requisition them as contacts and set them aside for whoever needs them.
