What's the recoil stat mean in game terms? Or is that something used in the Stargate RPG?

Recoil is an optional rule from the MAG. Basically, when making a burst, strafe or autofire attack, you suffer a -1 penalty for every point that your Strength is lower than the weapon's recoil. It doesn't affect single shots.
