Ayumi goes the same the Mercedes and Goons go, so I need to know what she's doing before proceeding.
Dieter 2004-03-29 22:45:28
Jumping in and going all stabbity. Oh, and ignoring Jess for the moment. She's kind of busy.
Gatac 2004-03-29 23:52:05
Methinks Ayumi will need to jump from a speeding car soon.

Not if she kills the driver. Then she can park the thing herself.

Pull the gate shut, then clamber forward over the seats to give the driver what-for.

I'm fine from my steady position. I figure keeping near Jess is a good idea.

Continue to pound the Ferrari. This time, concentrate on actually having an effect.

I really don't want to kill Ivan. He's a nice guy.

M'kay. I get the smacktard award for the day. For some reason I was getting "Ivan" confused with "CrazyIvan". I was wondering why the hell you were asking him that in the plotline thread.

Nevermind...nothing to see here...carry on.
Gatac 2004-03-31 00:34:24
Now I just hope Ivan doesn't get creamed by the mafia, after managing to get on Jessica's good side and all.

If he does manage to survive, you might want to see about getting him into the witness protection program.

ADS, I need you to post your action for Artis.

I'll do it. Save Ivan, I say!

Because, as we know from General Koskov, having Russian friends pays off. A lot.

Gatac

(And if I ever get a Personal Lieutenant...heh, only joking.)

Ivan would at least become a reputable contact.

Good. Er, for future reference: Does anybody else intent to open the can of worms that is Personal Lieutenant? I toyed with the idea of abusing Ivan for that, but it's too much of a managment hassle. (And that's not even considering Dieter, who'd get a permanent NPC to roll for.)

Some new SW espionage homebrew rules for were just posted. They've got potential. I'm seriously considering switching formats from d20 Spycraft to SW.

Everyone would be able to keep their current characters with starting XP rank of "Veteran".

I'll be hammering out the rules over our summer hiatus.
Gatac 2004-04-01 17:16:57
Hm, I'm not so sure about that, actually. I like my complicated little D20 system. :)

Also, Faceman/Snoop Guide has been ordered. Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

Oh, crap. Missed my cue! Um... Artis is going to the kill the Ferrari to death with his machine guns. And do some donuts in the process.
CrazyIvan 2004-04-02 00:08:36
I'd honestly prefer to stick to d20...SW didn't impress me that much, not after my Blue Planet and Pendragon binge.

I'm all for anything that makes the game easier to run for Dieter.

And that's why Ayumi will stick around for quite a while. ;)

Honestly, the bookkeeping for Spycraft (especially at higher levels) is a supreme bitch...especially for the kind of dynamic missions I run. Additionally, no one seems to have had any trouble fleshing out their Pulp Fiction or Pirate characters. There will the amalgamation of alot of stuff, but combat resolution will be infinitely easier.

Besides, the Marksman Edge is right up Agent Osprey's alley.
