Semo's drone buddy is in the ceiling tiles above him. He acts, then the drone acts, then we're at initiative. People were failing their awareness checks left and right.

Stitch the ceiling!
Admiral Duck Sauce 2007-06-22 19:26:08
Well, initiative is ridiculous. Hugh and the drone go simultaneously, then everyone else goes simultaneously.

Just doin' what a meat-shield does... 8-)

BTW, how high is the drone? Could Semo reach it with the sword?

I say Hugh tries to tag it, then Semo does whatever, and Luis holds his action and goes last with the SMG. Also, glad to hear about the laptops. I figured our characters probably wouldn't have been quite so dumb as to make such a big security breach, but I just wanted to check.

Hugh and Angel are aiming down the corridor in the unsecured direction. I don't recommend that they abandon that. Luis is guarding the rear, which is theoretically clear, so he could fire without drawing great ire from Hugh.

Luis is at 3/6 Wounds, 4/12 Shock. He is literally slightly over half dead. 4 WD.

I believe Semo got first aid down in the Pit, but he's back to 10/10 Wounds, 14/18 Shock now. 5 WD.

Angel took a wound in his mano-a-mano battle. 6/6 Wounds, 8/12 Shock. 3 WD.

Hugh, for once, is uninjured. :) 4 WD.

And just so we don't forget, Max is uninjured and has his full complement of 6 WD. In the rear with the gear!

Well, crud. That'll sting in the morning. If that was the last combat round, I'd like to be able to wait to heal until it can be used as a demonstration for the wounded in the Armory, sort of an "if I'm willing to do it do myself, it can't that bad" thing. On the other hand, if we have to face more enemies, it'll be better to give the Frisbee a shot now.

So, save it?
Admiral Duck Sauce 2007-06-23 19:14:29
The armory is really close, and you haven't noticed any other hostiles in the area. (*Rolls Hugh's Tactics*) You should be able to make contact with them before any reinforcements arrive.

What's Max doing? (if anything)

Well, I figured I'd try and get Mesa Negras back up and running...focusing on key systems. That and figuring out how to properly operate the Turai helmets then disable the IFF recognition system on the whap guns would be next priority.

After that, we can work on a temporary solution to plugging up the Fargate with dead bodies and fragged equipment. Is there a Deuce-and-a-half around?
Admiral Duck Sauce 2007-06-27 18:26:01
Trucks, humvees, etc. are up the freight elevator on the surface, inside the motor pool.

Quite honestly, you can't get Mesas Negras "fixed" without a truckload of replacement parts. You -could- try to get Pit systems back online by scavenging from other sublevels.
Dieter 2007-06-27 18:27:20
Alrighty then. Let's get the funk outta the Pit and replace it with trucks from the motor pool.
Gatac 2007-06-27 18:44:20
That should wait until we've killed the loose turai.

Then I guess I'll work on figuring out the IFF and Turai armor features.

How much knowledge of anatomy does it take to opperate a Frisbee? If we can capture them, can a regular one of us use it? If so, it'd be nice to have one of Paxton's team grab the one off of Angel's kill.
