"God damn unreliable foreign models." Carla mutters to herself as she notices the somewhat soggy floor. "Somebody start bailing."

Just as things appear to be cooling down in the lagoon, Artis watches as Ivan's boat departs from the dock and goes full throttle towards the mainland.

"Hi guys, this is Goose again - preparing to continue pursuit of target, do you guys need help? Over..."

Jess grabs her mike while she slaps a bandage over her wound.

"We're in a bit of a pinch here, Goose, but if you loose the target, it's all for nothing anyway. Stop them."

The comm channel clears as Jess throws a pressure bandage on her chest wound. Midway through the procedure, Jess' phone rings...it's Liz.

Good work. At 9pm tonight, go to the bus station in Mestre. Upon arriving, go to the ladies' room located in the east wing of the terminal. Inside the fill tank of third stall you will find a package containing information that will take you to your associate's brother. If there are no further questions, my employer and I will consider this matter closed.

She mutes the phone, then gets back on the mike.

"Goose, cancel that. Do NOT engage. But if you're still serious about the help, we've got some work for you here."

"Please confirm that you are asking me to NOT follow the target to their secret base, thereby continuing to put our team at the mercy of their evil shenanigans?"

"Uh, Goose, we're sinking and have half of Venice behind us. I'd like to be alive for my revenge, thank you very much."
