Here's the first OOC thread! The game thread will be coming along in the next few days.

So, for those of you that have been feeling like things have been going too slow as far as production and movement goes, I took an informal word count of what I just posted:

40,300.

That's right. Written up in about 35 days. We're badasses, everyone.

Speaking of badasses, here's how things shook out with the genemod infusion and the Turai toughness challenge:
Hunter: 12 hours / Hugh: 14 hours / Luis: 38 hours / Angel: 24 hours / Garrett: 49 hours
At 12 hours, it's a 1d6 Will check, 24 was 1d8, 36 was 2d8, and 48 was 1d10. Call it being tossed down a flight of stairs at 12 hours, a full-body muscle burn like overdoing exercise at 24 hours, a full-body charley-horse at 36, and just pure agony at hour 48. Write it up as you will!

So, here we are! Everyone's arriving for Hugh's bonding ceremony later that night, so write up your attire, arrival, and gifts appropriately. :)

Just so we're all on the same page here, I asked Kasey and as far as the 815's concerned, our only plans at the moment are the joint training and an op in Afghanistan.

Sweet monkey Jesus. If the last one was too long, this is... ridiculous. 56,000 words.

I'm both immensely proud of how great everything has been turning out from everyone - and immensely sorry that this is taking so long and is being so hard to get done. We are, now, finally in the glide path towards the end of this beast and back to smaller posts and more shit blowing up. :D

So, read up! I'll give everyone a few days to read and parse what's happened and ask any questions needed, and then we do the big reveal scene for Hug'sh to the rest of Task Force 815!

Discuss! I will roll with whatever you all decide when I get back online to post.

Put my vote down for the plateau mission, as well. We've always been a team that works best when given a specific objective, and the leeway to do it our way. And the mountain pass sounds like it will be just as much an attrition battle for us as anyone else, with not as much at stake.

So, uh, what Hug'sh said, I guess. :P

And we're in combat! Placement is the same as it was before - Luis, Angel and Swims up front, Arketta, Ngawai and Hug'sh in the middle, and Zaef, Hunter and Hale in the rear - just with Luis and Swims up in front of the convoy at the truck.

And this next round is combat! Post your actions accordingly.

One day, Hug'sh will persuade someone, but today is not that day.

Okay! So, here's the play - we're going undercover as a Turai crew documenting the effectiveness of Imperial accelerators and weaponry on Narsai'i vehicles and armor. (Hint: they work really well). After a few gateway trips to throw the monitors off the scent, our Manta will dock with the Akwhela's Eye nearest the section of the Eye the weapons Angel found were made in, and we make our way to China from there. Quick sensor drop, a bit of bullshitting, back in the gateway, back in the Manta, and we're out.

Anyone have any good ideas/modifications/questions?

Okay! Law school is finally at a regular manageable pace, and I can keep the game rolling. Thanks for your patience.
